PKR has a clear and easy to use poker lobby, far too often on other sites the lobby becomes confused and difficult to navigate but PKR use a simple choice between cash games, sit-and-go and multi-table tournaments, with the further choices of Hold’em or Omaha poker.

Once in the game the software is easy to use. It is simple to bet and raise and more importantly to choose the amount you wish to bet and raise, a slider bar is used to up your bet with the option of betting the amount in the pot already or betting all your chips at once with two separate buttons.

A feature currently unique to PKR is that you only see your cards when they are dealt; they are not visible all the way through the hand. This may sound like an annoyance but can be used to your own advantage. Imagine this, a hand is dealt and is not raised pre flop. You, being a clever and conscientious player have remembered your two cards. Now the flop comes down to the same suit (let’s say diamonds). 99% of the time if you look at your opponents you would see them take a second look at their cards to check whether one of them was a diamond! You generally will remember your cards if they are of the same suit, the fact that your opponents are looking at their cards probably means they do not have two diamonds in their hand. This is an example of how PKR differs to other poker rooms. They have developed an entirely new online experience here.

Another example of PKR’s difference to other poker rooms is the way the characters can emote at the table! You can yawn, laugh, cry, punch the air, call other players a chicken and generally be a nuisance! Note: You can choose to ignore players here who you deem to be over using the emote feature.
