THE GAME

BUYING TICKETS

HOW TO PLAY

THE GAME

In the traditional bingo game, played in bingo clubs, players mark off the numbers on their tickets, using a pen called a bingo dabber, as numbered balls are randomly drawn by a caller until a winner is declared. The winner is the first person to mark off all the numbers on their ticket according to the designated winning patterns.

Our online version of bingo is played very much in the same way, the main differences being that a new game starts every few minutes, all day every day, and that you can set up all your own game environment preferences.

To play you must log in, have adequate funds in your account and buy at least one ticket.

The Club Selector back to top

At Galabingo.co.uk you will find a choice of clubs with different games and promotions running at different times so whenever you log in you can be sure to find the bingo game that suits you. Simply choose a club from the Lobby page by clicking on the Play button.

All online clubs offer the same features and game options but have different opening hours; the Gala Clubs City, Country, Seaside, Royal, Castle and Sharon, however, are open every day, 24 hours a day.

A Club Selector button is available within each club above the Chat window to allow you move from one to another without having to log out.

Linked Clubs back to top

In particular occasions and for particular games, we may link two or more Bingo clubs together and all players within the Linked Clubs will be able to participate to the same game from their favourite club.
Linked Clubs will be clearly marked within the Lobby.
Players will be able to buy tickets and advanced tickets for Linked Clubs games only from one club.
Winning claims will be announced in all Linked Clubs, and the winning tickets will be available for all participating players to see.
Should two or more players share a valid claim, winnings will be split among the relevant players and credited immediately in their accounts regardless of the fact that they may be playing from different clubs.

Please note: players participating in a Linked Club game will be able to chat only to players within the same club.

TV Bingo back to top

If you choose to play in our Gala TV Club you can watch the Gala TV show, broadcast live on Sky Channel 841, and play bingo alongside the Gala TV viewers. The club is open every day from 6pm till 2am.

All games in the Gala TV Club are standard 90 Ball Bingo games. The way you buy your tickets is the same as in any other club, however the numbers are called by the presenters live from the TV studio.

The only difference between other clubs and the Gala TV Club is that the Auto-Dab functionality and the CLAIM button are not available. You dab your numbers by clicking on the matrix in the top right hand corner of your game screen. This will dab the numbers on all your tickets accordingly. Any claims are made automatically by the system.
If you dab a number by mistake, simply click on it again to de-select it and then click on the correct number.
Don't worry if you miss a number or if you dab a wrong one. If you have a winning ticket the system will automatically claim for you and the winnings will be credited to your account.

All available prizes and jackpots appear as usual in the game information panel in the top left corner of your game screen.

As in all our online clubs, there are many different chat rooms to choose from. From time to time the Gala TV presenters and callers will be in the rooms to answer all your questions and wish you luck.
In particular the "At The Studio" room can be used to ask questions and receive immediate support directly from the Studio.

You can also e-mail the studio during the show with messages, thoughts and suggestions. Simply click on the MESSAGE STUDIO button.

Alternatively, or if you wish to send attachments, you can send text messages to the studio or e-mails from your PC.
Simply text the word CHAT followed by your message to 82222, or send your e-mail to studio@galatv.co.uk.
Text messages cost 12-15p each plus standard network rates.

Please also note the following:

Some games within the Gala TV Club will be exclusive to Gala TV players. In these cases a message will appear on your screen displaying information on the next available game.

Players who don't have broadband connection may have difficulties viewing the stream of the show. This will not have an impact on the outcome of your game. If you have a winning ticket, your account will be automatically credited as normal.

There may be a delay between the TV broadcast and the streaming of the draw inside the TV Bingo Club. This delay will not impact on the game or cause internet players any disadvantage compared to Gala TV players.

In the event of any problems with the streaming, promotional videos may be shown in place of the show on Gala TV. In these cases a message will appear on your screen displaying information on the interruption.
Streaming issues will not have any impact on your game, so if you have a winning ticket, your account will be automatically credited as before.

Due to technical capabilities it is possible that from time to time, player volume in the Gala TV room may be capped.

We are unable to offer Bingo Extra games in the Gala TV Club at present.

The tickets back to top

Each individual grid of numbers is referred to as a Ticket. Tickets are 3 rows by 9 columns.
Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank spaces.

An example of  Ticket is given below:-

The strips back to top

Six consecutively numbered tickets on the same card are referred to as Strips. Each Strip contains all 90 numbers distributed throughout the tickets.  Therefore, the player who buys a Strip will cross off a number at each call.

An example of a Ticket Strip is as follows: -

Winning patterns and prizes back to top

Normally, the three winning patterns are One Line, Two Lines and Full House; however, in certain games we may not offer all patterns.

To claim One Line, you need to mark off all the numbers on a single horizontal line on any one of your tickets. To claim Two Lines, you must mark off all the numbers on two horizontal lines of the same ticket.

You have a Full Housewhen you mark off all numbers on any one of your tickets.
Prizes for each winning pattern vary depending on ticket prices and number of participants. However in certain games we may guarantee a minimum prize and offer additional jackpots. All prices and additional jackpots will be shown in the game information panel in the top left corner of your game screen.

When jackpots are offered in specific games, the amount is always clearly displayed in the game information panel in the top left corner of your game screen.

All winnings are credited to your Galabingo.co.uk account immediately after each valid claim.

Cash Climber

The cash climber jackpot can be won on all paid for 90 and 80 ball bingo games.  It is won by claiming the full house in 32 balls or under in 90-ball bingo and by claiming the full house in 31 balls or under in 80-ball bingo.  The jackpot will continue to increase until won and is displayed in the top left hand corner of the game screen when available.
The cash climber jackpot is funded through, but can also be won through game play on certain slot machines and games, where it is also referred to as the ‘Jackpot’.  These include but are not limited to Inca Trail, Sirens Treasure, Agent X, Footballers’ WAG, Pharaoh’s Chamber, Goldmine, Cross Court Tennis, Champions League, World Cup, Sheerluck Holmes, Magic Potion, Jupiter’s Jackpot, and Frutti Jackpot.   There is only one jackpot which may be won through game play on any of the above (please refer to individual games on how to achieve this). It is funded exclusively by customers playing on the Gala, Coral.co.uk and Eurobet.com websites.

High Five Games back to top

High five games will be played for One Line, Two Lines and the Full House.

Should a High Five game be played in a Linked Club, tickets and advanced tickets may only be bought from one club.

To win half of the advertised Jackpot, you have to claim the Full House on number 5 or any number ending in 5 (15, 25, 35 etc.). The other half of the Jackpot will be split equally between all the players participating in the High Five game who are playing within the same club as you. If there are multiple winners, the winner’s share of the jackpot will be split among the number of valid winners.

All winnings will be immediately credited to the winners’ accounts.

Please note: the prizes for the 1 Line and the 2 Lines will be available as normal, as well as the prize for the Full House on any number apart from 5 or ending in 5.

One Or Two To Go Games back to top

From time to time, in specific games, we may offer One To Go or Two To Go prizes.
In One To Go games, once a valid Full House has been claimed all players awaiting for one number will automatically be awarded the advertised prize.

In the same way, in Two To Go games, once a valid Full House has been claimed all players awaiting for two numbers will automatically be awarded the advertised prize. Players waiting for only one number will not be awarded the Two to Go prize.

You can win only one One To Go or Two To Go prize within 24 hours.
Should you be waiting for one or two numbers on more than one ticket in the same game, you will be awarded only one One To Go or Two To Go prize.

One To Go and Two To Go prizes will only be awarded if you have not won any other prize (1 Line, 2 Line or Full House) in that game.

There are two ways to choose the tickets you wish to buy. You may either select the tickets of your choice (Select & Buy), or just select how many tickets you wish to buy and they will be randomly chosen for you (Quick buy).

Only the tickets you haven't already selected will change. You may deselect unwanted tickets by clicking on each one again. To deselect all tickets, click on Clear and start a new selection. When you click on Cancel you close the Select & buy window.
The Select & Buy screen takes the following format: -

Once you are happy with your selection, click on OK and then confirm your purchase by clicking on Confirm in the confirmation pop-up window. If you wish to change your selections click on Cancel instead.

Please note: ticket sales close 12 seconds before each game. A message will inform you that the ticket sales are closed. Just a few seconds later, however, tickets for the next game will be available.

HOW TO PLAY back to top

The Game

Once you have bought your tickets you must wait for the game to start.

A new 90 ball Bingo game starts every few minutes. The schedule and the details of the next games in every Gala Club can be viewed at any time by clicking on Times & Prices in the game information panel in the top left area of your game screen. You can use the drop down menu to select another Club.

In the game information panel you can also see the name of the current game, the number of participants and the prize for each winning pattern, including the Progressive Jackpot and any extra prizes.

Once the game starts, in the game display area at the top right of your screen, you will see each number as it’s drawn and marked off on the checklist.

You can change the volume in the club by using the Volume Control above the Banners/Game Grid in the top right of the screen. If you want to switch off only a certain part of the sound (e.g. the Caller or the Music) then you can click on the Advanced Sound Control icon next to the Volume Control.

While you are waiting you may also visit and play bingo in any other open club by clicking on the Club Selector button also at the top of the Chat window. All games will open in a new browser window and will not affect your bingo game. You can move this new window around enabling you to keep an eye on Chat or your Bingo tickets should you wish to do so.

Dabbing Your Numbers back to top

You may dab your numbers manually or chose to have them dabbed automatically.
The automatic option is selected by default, but should you prefer to dab your numbers manually, click on Preferencesand deselect the Auto Dab box.  For your convenience, an Auto Dab box will also appear above your tickets just before the game starts.  You may change dabbing mode during the game.

If you have chosen the manual dabbing mode, don’t worry if you fall behind. By clicking on the Catch upbutton, all called numbers will be dabbed automatically. All called numbers will be dabbed automatically also every time a valid claim is made.

Valid Games back to top

Every time you complete a winning pattern (One Line, Two Lines, Full House) you can click on Claim. However, don’t worry if you don’t, your winnings will still be safe and a winner claim box will appear automatically on your screen. All other players will also be notified by a pop up box showing all details of your winning claim.

In the same way, as soon as any other player makes a valid claim, a box will pop up on your screen showing all details of the other players’ winning claim.

If you are on manual dabbing mode, the winner claim box will appear automatically when you have a valid claim, even if you didn’t dab any of the numbers on your ticket.

Disconnections back to top

While playing online bingo it is possible to become disconnected from the game, but not to worry as our Card Manager will take over the dabbing for you. Should you win at any stage then claims will be automatically made and your account will then be updated with any winnings so you will never miss out!

Bingo Extra back to top

Bingo Extra features six 3-step quick and easy mini-games to add even more excitement to your main Bingo game. The mini-games are linked to the Bingo draw that you are playing and cannot be played independently; therefore, to play you have to purchase at least one Bingo ticket to play Bingo Extra. To play Bingo Extra just click on the Bingo Extra icon above your Ticket window. Choose your favourite among the following:

Spot On – This game allows you to predict the colour of a ball. For instance, you could predict that the 3rd ball drawn will be yellow. This game allows you to bet on any of the first 15 balls and also the last ball drawn.

Numbers Up – This game allows you to predict the number of a ball drawn. For instance, you could predict that the 8th ball drawn will be number 73. This game allows you to bet on any of the first 15 balls and also the last ball drawn.

Lottery – This game has two options:

Any of the six appear:
Here you can predict 6 numbers to be drawn in the first 15 balls. If any of your chosen numbers appear, you will be paid out based on how many you correctly predicted. When placing a bet, the payout that your see is the potential payout if all 6 of your chosen balls are drawn. Once you have chosen this option you will not be allowed to bet on the other option ‘None of the six to appear’.

None of the six appear:
Here you can predict 6 numbers not to be in the first 15 balls drawn. Unlike the other option ‘Any of the six appear’ there is only one payout and that is if NONE of your chosen 6 balls appear within the first 15 balls drawn. Once you have chosen this option you will not be allowed to bet on the other option ‘Any of the six appear’.

Paintball – In this game you can predict the frequency of a colour appearing. You can predict:
None of your chosen colour will appear in the first 15 balls.
AT LEAST 1 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 2 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 3 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 4 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 5 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 6 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 7 of your chosen colour will appear
AT LEAST 8 of your chosen colour will appear

For example, you might want to predict that AT LEAST 2 balls of colour red will appear in the first 15 balls drawn.

Range Finder – In this game you can predict the sum total of the first 15 balls drawn. There are 3 options:

Low Range: 120-633
Mid Range: 634-717
High Range: 718-1245

For example, if the first 15 balls drawn are:

24,56,33,1,8,19,79,88,12,16,5,37,66,45,61

This would give us a sum total of 550, thus the ‘Low Range’ option would win.

In The Mix – This game allows you to predict the frequency of a colour appearing in the first 15 balls drawn. This works differently from the game Paintball: there are only four betting options:

1) It will be the most drawn colour
2) It will not be the most drawn colour
3) It will be the least drawn colour
4) It will not be the least drawn colour

For example, if you wanted to predict that the colour green would not be the most drawn colour, you would select the second option.
